Babydolls

With all the rl rain today, i decided to cheer myself up…and what better way to do it than by trying on my favorite Babydolls outfits.  I came across Babydolls quite soon into my sl while looking for pasties (i had never come across that term in the UK before haha), so i TPed over and not only did i find pasties but also the most gorgeous and sexy lingerie.  Then earlier this year to my extreme delight i was offered a job as a runway model with Babydolls.  Babydoll Lafontaine is a spectacular designer and so diverse in her style, she has something to suit everyone.  I have a feeling this may be a long post as its not a case of deciding which of these outfits to wear, its a case of which ones not to wear.  But what better way to start than with the first ever outfit i wore for Babydolls and also one of my favorites – the Red Catwalk One Piece!

This super sexy swimsuit is just so hotttt…it comes in a variety of colors, with an optional add on skirt, which i am wearing in the pictures and also these very cute heeled sandals to match.  Perfect for chilling at the beach or jetskiing at your favorite island, this outfit is gonna get you noticed!  Babydolls also designs her own skins and with this Red One Piece I am wearing the Babydolls Exposed Sunkissed Skin in Smokey Eye Nude (see pic below), these skins look great on many shapes and come in a variety of skin tones and make-ups.

Parisian Beaded Dress

While exploring the wonderful world of sl today i discovered a lovely little castle to rent in the countryside and thought what a wonderful place to show the very gorgeous Gisaci Parisian Beaded Dress from Armidi.

What a delight, this elegant and stunning cocktail dress has the most beautiful detail around the bust and a silky cream underskirt, which shows through the dark over layer as you walk…and hey we all know that when dancing in SL our dresses can look a little strange, well this dress just floats, it floats exquisitely through the air as you move. I cannot say how much I adore this dress and the added bonus is that it sells at a very reasonable price…i just love it.

Houseboat Days

Thinking back to my first days in SL in my previous post got me thinking of my first SL home…a lovely houseboat built by my friend Berjo Saiman. I moored it up to a cool little spot opposite Back to Mine club and spent many happy months there until the SIM owner decided to sell. So today i got out my old houseboat and decided to have my first sl home in my blog.

My next thought was, hmm what shall i wear on this reunion with my boat, so what other than this cool summer outfit i put together. First i have to mention the necklace, this gorgeous necklace was given to me as a gift this weekend by the very handsome and wonderful Robertt Avro…and i just love it. It is so delicate and beautiful and goes with many outfits. You can find this very pretty necklace at JCNY and make it look exactly as you wish as it is part of the Hyper Gems collection. Here i have changed the metal to black gold and the gems to diamonds, but there are many other metal and gem options to choose from….and a big thank you to Robertt for such a wonderful gift.

Also worn in the pictures are the cool SamGlam pants from LeeZu Baxter, just great for a summers day on my houseboat. Not sure if my pictures do these pants justice, as they have the most amazing detail front and back and are so very well designed. LeeZu Baxter has some totally unbelievable designs and her store (To the Nines) is definately worth a visit. With these gorgeous pants i wore this cool little vest top from Laqroki (formally RAC). These tops were released last week when the new apparel section re-opened, they are quite plain so look great with highly detailed pants such as the ones from LeeZu Baxter. Very well designed with great realistic wrinkles and also come in a huge variety of colours. SD Punk Princess

Just when i thought my blogging was over for today, i receive a group message from Stellar Designs with a pic of the latest outfit – Punk Princess. With my love of punk/grunge outfits and of Stellar Designs this was just too much. I rushed over to Stellar Island and frantically walked around the store until i found it. Not only does this designer (Lexi Morgan) create the most amazing outfits but she also does much work for the BBA All-Stars Relay for Life Group, which i am huge supporter of. This cute little punk outfit comes in pink, white or red, and comes with two different skirt types, a cool tattoo, black tights and matching leg warmers. I can safely say i love it and will probably have it on for the whole of next week.

Blondie – My Fav SL T-Shirt

Well i created this blog while sitting in my sl garden with my friend Eliza, so i thought why not do my first post of my favorite casual outfit…jeans t-shirt and trainers. Not the most classy of outfits but certainly one of my favorites. Blondie is my favorite band ever and when someone told me of a Blondie T-shirt they had saw I just had to go straight out and get it. This pink and black design looks great with these light low waist jeans by Dutch Touch. Dutch Touch is one of my favorite stores in sl, selling grungy outfits that are great to mix and match with. I teamed this up with a pair of Pink sneakers from Action…a very cool store selling some great surf/beachwear. My New Blog

Well having been in SL since New Years Eve 2006, i can safely say i have visited a fair amount of shops. My first favorite store being the 50L$ store hehehe, i spent months standing on a diamond in Nantucket welcoming the visitors, saying hi to all very well dressed ladies that came through the barn..I was stood there in amazement and envy at the clothing some of these women wore and all i had was my freebie items in my inventory, i was determined to do this without rl money, so on the diamonds i stayed, working hour after hour lolol….well i did enjoy it too and met all my best sl friends there. Then one day Thistle Stardust told me of the 50L$ store, i had saved enough money from the diamonds for 3 x 50L$ outfits….that was the start of my interest in SL fashion and from then on i have shopped and shopped. In that time i have also worked for various agencies and designers and have needed particular accessories or outfits for certain occasions, thats where i first started reading SL fashion blogs. I have found so many of my favorite outfits/accessories from blogs and online magazines. So today on a quiet rl weekend, while it thunders outside i decided to create my own blog…and maybe one day a person like me will be looking for a particular item and find it here in my blog.
